With over 70,000 YouTube subscribers, Lenny San Jose, aka Ukulenny, is an ukulele performer, educator, and jam leader. Based in Oakland, CA, he received his training at UC Berkeley and CSU East Bay. He has taught music at Oakland School for the Arts and Berkeley Unified School district. His ukulele career started over 15 years ago on Bay Area Rapid Transit, playing his uke during his daily commute.

This family friendly festival features daily sessions of workshops, evening concerts, open mics, community performances, raffle and an abundance of shopping. Ukulele entertainers & world class ukulele instructors including Lil’ Rev, The Canote Brothers, Casey MacGill, Tina Hebner, Ray Cygrymus, Conrad Cayman, Perry Stauffer, Dani Joy, and more!
Concerts and jams are hosted throughout the 4 day event. Festival attendees get a hotel discount at the Nugget.

Loaner instruments are available at no cost and are on a first-come first-serve basis. The library recommends that you call ahead in advance to reserve an instrument. To attend the event registrations are required - you may register on the library's website.
