The annual 8th grade Washington DC trip is May 6-8, 2020.  This is a Wednesday to Friday.  We will be leaving early on Wednesday morning.  The bus will leave (wheels rolling) at 6:30 am. Students will be required to be at the school at 6:00 am.

Students will have an informational meeting in December with all paperwork needed to reserve a spot sent home at this meeting.  There will also be an informational sheet with all costs, due dates, etc. included on it.  See below as well.

The cost of the trip this year is....................$535.00

        - The payment now button ($150 deposit by credit card) will be active at 12:00 (noon) on                               Wednesday January 8, 2020.  There is a 5% fee ($7.50) for this option. 
        - The form to pay by check button (Payment form for payments by check) will be active on Thursday   
            January 2, 2020.  You can download the form and send in a check to by Jan. 8 to avoid 
            the 5% transaction fee.

Payment Schedule:
        Deposit - required to reserve place on trip.
                            - Jan. 8 (starting at noon) - Jan 24  --  $150.00 

        Payment #2 - Feb. 10 - 14   -- $197.50  
        Payment #3 - March 16 - April 10   -- $187.50  
             (final balance due may differ due to fundraising)

        1.)  Pay the $150.00 deposit online with the tour company. (or mail a check)
        2.)  Washington Contract form signed by parent/guardian and student
        3.) District Parent Release form - signed by parent/guardian

The cost of the trip includes: all transportation costs, two nights hotel lodging, 2 breakfasts, 
3 lunches, 3 dinners, tickets for Kennedy Center show, all other admissions, two T-shirts, licensed DC tour guides, nighttime security, and a lifetime of memories!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Students' spots in line will be determined by the order they turn in their forms to Mr. Maxhimer on Wednesday Jan. 8, 2020 starting at 8:00 am AND pending verification that the deposit is paid with the tour company by Mr. Maxhimer.  
   ***If a student does not pay the deposit with the tour company, he or she will be moved to the bottom of the list until the deposit is paid, at which time his or her place in line will be locked in at the current location on the list NOT where he or she was when the paperwork was turned.  

*** Tour company charges a 5% fee for processing payments online.  This can be avoided by sending in a check to the tour company by the dates listed above.  This will ensure your students' spot in line is reserved according to when they turned in their forms.
