DEPARTMENT OF GRAPHIC ARTS AND COMMUNICATION
OBJECTIVES:
It aims to equip students with competence of graphic design and communication.
FACILITIES & FEATURES:
Facilities include studios, single lens reflex cameras, professional cameras, software and hardware for graphic design, typesetting, video editing.
FACULTY:
All the teachers, qualified with Class B or A Technician Certificate approved by
government, are bachelors graduated from the Department of Industrial Education
(specialized in graphic design) of National Normal University. One has obtained
master degree and another is taking summer courses at the graduate institute.
ADVANCED STUDY:
1. After graduation the students can continue their study by entering polytechnic universities, normal universities, 4-year institutes of technology, or 2-year junior colleges.
2. The graduates can go on for advanced study in:
-The Departments of Industrial Design
-The Department of Visual Communication
-The Department of Graphic Communication Arts
-The Department of Commercial Design
EMPLOYMENT:
Graduates can take jobs as photographers, commercial designers and they are competent to work in printing, video processing, and cable TV companies.
