UW Band Day (if your student is not attending, you can stop reading now!)

65 students and staff will head out to Camp Randall to perform pep band tunes with an end zone full of other high school students on Saturday. Clothing needed for the game include the marching band uniform (which includes a PLAIN white t-shirt WITH sleeves, athletic shorts, long black socks, black marching shoes), instrument, lyre, band day music, paper bag lunch and/or money for concessions. Students can get their uniforms from the uniform room after school Friday and come to school in uniform Saturday morning. Students need to arrive at 5:30am at KMHS to get in uniform/get organized and we will depart by 6:00am. Door 12-S will be open near the auditorium entrance. There will be some down time, so feel free to charge your phone in advance while waiting for gametime. We will arrive back to KMHS between 4-5pm.

We do have students with severe peanut allergies attending our trip, so please no peanuts or peanut products consumed on the buses.

Tickets and bus cost $36 and can be brought in to the band lockbox. I am working with our office staff on collecting future fees via Infinite Campus, including the band supplies that students purchased at camp.

There is a strict carry-in policy for games as listed here:Camp Randall security policies requires that all band members carry nothing into the stadium except their instrument (no cases) and sack lunches (concessions will be open at 8:00am). All coolers must remain on buses, and only personal use size only lunches will be permitted into Gate 10.

All guests entering the stadium are encouraged not to bring any types of bags inside Camp Randall

Stadium; however, each ticket holder is allowed one small clutch purse (6.5 x 4.5) and one large clear bag, either a one-gallon clear Ziploc®-style storage bag or a 12X 6X12 clear tote bag. Additional prohibited items include but not limited to: bottles, coolers, thermoses, luggage, strollers, umbrellas, laser pointers, banners, flags, signs, noisemakers, weapons, balloons or beach balls.
