This document is a reflection of my Google Hangout session with the course instructor. This is evidence because it shows my thinking about my course direction as I begin this class. This reflection demonstrates adjustments to my learning, progress in regards to Google Classroom, and learning strategies such as using Screencastify and Quizizz.
Reflection:
The Google Hangout with my instructor was informative and helpful as she went through the portfolio and explained the expectations. As far as adjustments to my learning I didn't really make any as I have yet to begin the course and start the portfolio. I had read through the portfolio outline before the Google Hangout meeting and had a few questions, so it was helpful to have the instructor clarify some things like what the three student lessons should look like and what to include in my reflections.
The instructor shared how I could use Screencastify as a tool to create a video by casting my screen. She also showed me Quizizz which is a program in which you can create a quiz ,or use already created quizzes, which you can than directly link to your Google Classroom page.
My instructor did ask what I teach and the grade level. She used this information to help individualize her suggestions on lessons specifically the quizzes and questions.
