Introduction: My life has been about learning! I am a graduate of Alta High School in Sandy. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. I went on to earn a Master's Degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher, and have taught in-service classes to other teachers. I am now in my 30th year as a teacher - how time flies! Sunset Ridge is the fourth middle school where I have taught, and it is my favorite place to be. I have taught here since the school opened in 2005. When I am not teaching, I love to read, watch movies, go to live plays, swim, and cross stitch... although not all at the same time! I am married and have a 14-year-old son and two cuddly cats.
