Animators study how people, animals, and objects move in the real world (called physics) to make movement look natural.
For example, when a ball bounces, it squashes and stretches—that’s a physics rule animators use!
Animators use computers, software, and graphics tablets to draw and move characters.
Programs like Blender, Toon Boom, or Scratch let them create digital cartoons or 3D models.
Engineering helps make animation tools, game engines, or rendering systems that process all the moving parts.
It also helps build rigs (skeletons) that control 3D characters, kind of like a puppet.
This is the heart of animation! Artists design characters, backgrounds, and scenes.
They use color, shape, expression, and style to tell a story or create emotion.
Animators use math to calculate frames per second (FPS) and motion paths.
Geometry helps with rotating and scaling characters or objects, especially in 3D animation.
