3D Printing

The library is happy to help you with your 3D printing requests.

Follow the steps below to have an object printed.

1. Create or choose a file you would like to print. The files must be an stl or obj file.

2. If you are just starting, Thingiverse is a website will all sorts of 3D printing files. These designs have been made by other designers, but are available for you to print.

3. Tinkercad is a great website for making your own original 3D designs. There are many online tutorials to help you in your first design. SketchUp is also another great design option.

4. Once you have your file, fill out the 3D printing request form. You will need to login with your Jeffco Google account to access this form.

You can stop by the library to ask Ms. Nickoloff approximately when the 3D object will be ready for pick up. Please keep in mind, due to the high volume of request and the length of time required for each print, this may take a few weeks.
