Fees

The marching band is an co-curricular activity that practices primarily after school. Due to the nature of the activity, bringing in instructors, show t-shirts, uniform maintenance, music, drill, uniform parts, travel, registrations, and lots of other stuff, it takes a lot of money to run a competition level marching band. We try very hard to keep individual expenses as low as possible, but unfortunately there is a marching band fee. If you need financial assistance, we can create a payment plan that will work for your family. We will also be starting a very aggressive fundraising campaign beginning at Band Camp.

Marching Band Fee (or Fair Share) Breakdown

Payments may be made all at once or in installments. All checks need to be made payable to WEST IREDELL BAND BOOSTERS or WIBB. Cash and Checks will need to be processed using the procedure below. We do have the option to accept online payments. To make a payment online, log into Charms by clicking the link ( the "C" in a black box )at the bottom of this page. Click Parents/Students tab and use the school code WIHSBAND. If you have a charms account, you may enter your password on the next page. If you do not have an account yet, you can still make a payment by clicking the guest shopping icon. Then click the green I am not a parent/student. You will need to create a temporary account that we will make permanent once we receive your information from the intent and information form. Once you are able to see the store, you will have a choice for how much you wish to pay. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the transaction. 

*****PLEASE BE ADVISED: A $30 FEE WILL BE ASSESSED TO CHECKS THAT ARE RETURNED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FUNDS.****

***MR. EVANS WILL COLLECT AND RECEIPT ALL PAYMENTS AT THAT TIME.***

Payments may be mailed or dropped of in the main office any time during normal business hours.

For students turning in any money:

Fill out the order form
Fill out payment envelope
Place order form and money inside payment envelope and seal
Place payment envelope inside money box in band room.
Receipts will be taped inside the band room door the next morning
