Band of Warriors Marching Band

All committed members of the WIHS Band of Warriors are expected, required, and graded on their attendance at ALL scheduled camps, rehearsals, performances, and band events. While it is understood that special circumstances can arise from time to time, consistent absences can result in removal from the band. All absences should be communicated clearly and in advance to the director. There have been times in seasons past where students juggled more than one extracurricular - however, the expectation is that band remains the priority. It is the students responsibility to adjust their schedule to the band's schedule, which has been communicated well in advance.

Please be advised: once the schedule has been set, all members are required to attend everything on the band calendar which can be found on this website, the Band app, and a physical copy that was sent with the beginning of year forms. The Band of Warriors rehearses during band class (4th period) and after school 2-3 times/week until 5:00pm.

As a marching band, we create a family and responsibility to each other. We are our success or our failure, but we must do it together. Excellence is possible through dedication and participation.

Beginning Fall 2017: all members of the marching band who are eligible/want to take Driver's Ed, must do so AFTER the conclusion of the marching band season. You will not be excused from rehearsals for Driver's Ed.
