Dear Families,
Welcome to Second Grade! Another great school year is about to begin. I am honored to be your child's teacher and feel fortunate to spend the year with them and your family! Their experiences in my classroom will be happy, engaging and memorable.
A little bit about me... I grew up and graduated from Princeton. I continue to reside in my hometown near my family. My daughter Chelsey is also a teacher at Princeton Primary and teaches Kindergarten. My son Luke recently completed college and is enjoying working in the business field. I love spending time with my family and making lasting memories with them. I enjoy spending time with friends, snowmobiling, time at the lake, hunting, ATV riding, reading, baking, traveling, and going to Vikings, Wild, and Twins games.
I received my Bachelors degree from St. Cloud State University and my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Mary's University. I am excited to begin my 25th year of teaching and my 22nd year at Princeton Primary. I have mainly taught First Grade. I also taught Kindergarten-First Grade looping for six years. I am excited for my new adventures in Second Grade. I cannot imagine another job that would fill my heart with the excitement and joy as teaching does. I am very proud to be teaching in my home community!
I look forward to a wonderful year!
Sincerely,
Michelle Hallbeck
