Adding Drugs

Follow this link on the Bahmni wiki, there is a video for how to add drug concepts in OpenMRS

Add Drugs in Openmrs:

1. Create new concepts of drugs with their name, don't add the dosage yet.

2. Go to manage concept drugs > Name: Add medicine name along with its dosage, Concept: Type concept name and from drop down select appropriate name and save concept drug.

3. Go to add concept and search 163204 - Prescription, this is what makes the drop down work. Edit it and in answers add a new field for the concept drug you just added and VOILA it's done!
