New Binge-worthy Nonfiction

This fall we have added a large, diverse collection of award-winning narrative nonfiction to our existing material, covering a wide range of topics. (Narrative nonfiction is a term used to describe nonfiction with a strong and compelling narrative thread that reads like great fiction.) Subjects include social justice, race, civil rights, feminism, LGBTQ, African history and culture, adventure & survival, science, environment, natural history, U.S. and international history, memoir, biography/autobiography, mental health and self-help.

In order to accommodate your varied reading preferences, all titles are available in print, as well as electronic formats (ebook, audiobook or both). In order to make it easier for you to browse these titles, we have created a helpful slideshow gallery, organized by subject area, with book covers, summaries and available formats.

As always, we welcome your book suggestions; just email us with your request.

Happy reading from the IHS Library Staff!
