I taught 8 years in second grade and this will be my 2nd year teaching first grade. Before becoming a teacher at the Primary, I student taught here in the second grade and worked as a Paraprofessional in the Special Education Department.

I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Classroom Teaching from Missouri Baptist University in 2010. I am certified to teach birth through sixth grade. I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Missouri Baptist University in 2019.

My husband, Jason and I recently celebrated our ninth year of marriage! Jason is an assistant principal/athletic director and coached boys basketball for 14 years. Our two daughters, Harper and Leighton, fill our lives with excitement and joy! We enjoy spending our time together playing and watching them learn and grow.

I am from DeSoto, but feel right at home here in hawk territory! In my free time, I cheer on the hawks, spend time with my friends and family, read, and shop online. : )
