Appraisal Template is under Appraisal.
The Appraisal Template in HRPro provides a standardized framework for conducting performance evaluations. It allows you to customize and define the criteria, ratings, and comments sections used during the appraisal process. This helps ensure consistency and fairness across all employee evaluations.
HR Managers or Department Managers/Division Managers can create different types of appraisal templates for different groups of employees, e.g. Managers, Senior staff, Junior staff, Salespeople, etc.

Click the red Delete button to delete the selected Appraisal Template.
Click the green Edit button to edit the selected Appraisal Template.
Click the cyan Copy button to copy the selected Appraisal Template to the new Appraisal Template.

If the Show Goal and Objective checkbox is checked, Goal and Objective are shown on the Appraisal Form for this Appraisal Template.
If the Required Goal and Objective checkbox is checked, the reviewer must fill in the Goal and Objective on the Appraisal Form before the Appraisal Completion.
If the Show Overall Comment check-box is checked, the Overall Comment is shown on the Appraisal Form for this Appraisal Template.
When the Required Overall Comment checkbox is checked, the reviewer must fill in the Overall Comment on the Appraisal Form before the Appraisal Completion.
If the Show HR Comment checkbox is checked, HR Comment is shown on the Appraisal Form for this Appraisal Template.
If the Required HR Comment checkbox is checked, the returned Appraisal required HR Comment by editing the Appraisal and changing the status to complete before it can be found in Appraisal Result.
If the Show Next Appraisal Date checkbox is checked, the Next Appraisal Date is shown on the Appraisal Form for this Appraisal Template.
If the Required Next Appraisal Date checkbox is checked, the Next Appraisal Date on the Appraisal Form must be filled in before the Appraisal Completion.

Pending: This is the initial state and is mandatory for the process to begin.
Self-Review: If this option is selected, the appraisal form is first sent to the appraisee (the person being reviewed). They need to fill in their self-rating and self-commits before the reviewer can start their review.
Allow Return for Self-Review Correction: If this option is enabled, the appraisee can revise their self-review based on initial feedback from the reviewer or any discrepancies noted during the review.
Reviewer Review: This step is mandatory. The reviewer evaluates the appraisee’s performance and provides their assessment.
Appraisee Feedback: If this option is selected, the appraisal form is sent back to the appraisee to provide feedback on the review before the appraisal process is completed.
Reviewer Final Review (before Feedbacker Feedback): If this option is checked, the appraisal form returns to the reviewer for any final amendments before it is sent to the feedbackers.
Feedbacker Feedback: If this option is selected, the appraisal form is sent to the feedbackers (as defined in the Employee Master, EPortal tab) to provide their feedback. If there are multiple feedbackers, the workflow follows a sequence: Feedbacker 1 → Feedbacker 2 → Feedbacker 3.
Reviewer Final Review (after Feedbacker Feedback): If this option is checked, the appraisal form returns to the reviewer for final amendments after receiving feedback from the feedbackers. Usually, you select either Reviewer Final Review (before Feedbacker Feedback) or Reviewer Final Review (after Feedbacker Feedback).
Return to HR for HR Comment: If this option is selected, the appraisal form is marked as Awaiting HR Comment, allowing HR to input their comments before the appraisal is completed.
Completed: This is the final mandatory step, indicating that the appraisal process is complete.
This workflow ensures that all necessary reviews and feedback are collected and addressed before the appraisal is finalized.

Reviewer Final Review (after Feedbacker Feedback)(考核者最終審核後—回饋者回饋後): 啟用時,在接收回饋者反饋後,考核表返回考核者做最終修訂。通常會在「回饋者回饋前」或「回饋者回饋後」兩者中擇一啟用。
Return to HR for HR Comment(返回人力資源部以供人資評語): 選擇此選項,考核表標記為等待人資評語,讓人資部門於考核完成前填寫意見。
Completed(完成): 此為最終必須階段,表示考核流程已結束。
此整體流程確保所有必要的審核和回饋均被收集並妥善處理後,考核方可正式結束。

Appraisal Template is not allowed to be edited if "Allow Edit Appraisal Template even if related Appraisals exist (Recommend No)" in Appraisal Module Setup is enabled.

Appraisal Item: The title that identifies the specific appraisal criterion.
Description: A detailed explanation outlining the purpose and expectations of this Appraisal Item.
Weights (0-100): Determines the contribution of this Appraisal Item to the Overall Rating. A higher weight increases its impact on the final score. (Refer to the Overall Rating Formula in Appraisal Review).
Rating Scale: Specifies the rating range for this Appraisal Item — either 1–5 or 1–10. A 5-point scale provides broader categories, while a 10-point scale allows more precise differentiation between performance levels.
Required Comment: If enabled, the reviewer must provide comments for this Appraisal Item before completing the appraisal.
Allow N/A Rating: If selected, the reviewer may choose “N/A” instead of the standard ratings (Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Fair, Poor). When “N/A” is chosen, this item’s rating will be excluded from the Overall Rating calculation.
No Rating: If selected, standard rating options (Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Fair, Poor) are hidden, and the reviewer cannot assign a rating for this item.
