Budget System

Students are given an incentive for doing well in project competitions by way of a budget. Students are given groups that start off with a small amount of money. Their job is to grow the money by being smart with purchasing materials, earn awards for acting like scientists, and win competitions for award money.

The class has an incentive list that groups can choose to buy from. Incentives range from leaving early from class, a secret prize, homemade dessert, pizza lunch, etc.

This year for third year students, the stakes are raised slightly. I can't wait to begin so I can share the little twist I have planned.
