Proposed 2025-26 "Hotchkiss in the World" Programs

Thanksgiving Break: 

• Hotchkiss in Poland/Slovakia - note that the application was due on October 5, 2025 at 10 p.m. DST

Long Winter Weekend:

• Civil Rights & Social Change: Atlanta's Enduring Story

• Hotchkiss in France (Military History) 

• Hotchkiss in Peru (Cultural immersion)

Summer Break: 

• Hersey Scholars at Boston Public and Harvard Libraries

• Euclid to Einstein program at Cornell University

• Hotchkiss in Vichy and Marseille, France (Language Immersion)

• Hotchkiss in Italy Music and Arts

• MacLeish Scholars at Yale University's Beinecke Library

• Matthiessen Environmental Science program in Great Mountain Forest, Norfolk, CT 

Note that all travel is dependent on guidelines from the CDC and other organizations.

• Attend information sessions in the Fall to learn more about the programs - stay tuned for emails from the leaders

• Access to applications, and instructions for how - and when - to apply, can be found on this site, here.

• Note that all students receiving financial aid will be awarded a grant from the Funds for Global Understanding for the ground cost of the program, with some aid for airfare. See the "Information about grants..." page for more information
