• Watson Civic Engagement Fellowship (funding for two summers for current Lower Mids) 

Before starting the on-line application for the Hotchkiss Travel Programs, you should have the following materials and information ready to complete step 1, 2 and 3 below: 

1. Basic information for you and your parents/legal guardians
   (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses)

2. Responses to the following short essay questions:

   • Describe a time when you pushed yourself beyond the familiar and the comfortable.

   • Which aspect of your Hotchkiss experience have you found most interesting? This could be related to the academic, co-curricular, or residential program or something else at the School. 

3. Response to the following longer essay question:

   • Please tell us why you are interested in this particular program and what you think you can contribute to the group.

4. Speak with your advisor about your interest in applying, and ask if they can complete a Feedback Form for you.
   If so, send them this link for the form. 

5. S/he should complete the form by  February 2, 2026.
   Note: All feedback forms will be kept confidential and will not be available to the applicants.
