Visual Motor Skills

Visual motor skills are the ability to use visual perceptual information to guide motor output for a coordinated movements.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Keep Up- tap an air inflated balloon with your hand or a paddle made from a crafts stick taped to a paper plate, count how many taps you can make before it hits the ground
  • Maze and dot to dot activity books- be sure not to bump the guidelines in the mazes and be sure to touch each dot with your pencil on dot to dots
  • Tracing- buy tracing paper and place it over any picture to begin. Trace basic shapes and letters to coloring books with popular TV or book characters
