Fine Motor Skills

Fine motor skills are the ability to use the small muscles in the hands and fingers in conjunction with the sensory system to effectively manipulate small items.  

ACTIVITIES:

• Play Dough Fun- use plain dough to create different shapes, make logs and shapes to cut, use tools to squeeze and press 

• Zoobs- press these brightly colored manipulatives together to create all kinds of designs, even a Zoob Dude  

• Travel size board games- play these games one handed by holding a few pieces at a time in your palm
