It is a set time before/after school where you can come in and talk to your teachers. It is strongly encouraged to stop by before/after school if you need additional help, concerns, and/or questions.

Although Mr. Ivan will update powerschool on weekly basis, it is my job to make sure submit all my assignments on time and put my best effort forward. What are POLs?
POL-Presentation of Learning. POLs happen twice in the year. One at the end of semester one, and the second at the end of semester two. This is a way to present what I learned during the semester along with strengths and challenges. It is also a good way of checking to see if I met my goals for class. Oh, and by the way, my family gets to be part of the audience.
What is an exhibition?
Exhibition is an event, usually held at school where I have the opportunity to showcase all my hard work for the semester. Family, friends, and visitors get to see what HTMCV is all about. More importantly, I get to present my learning and experience at HTMCV!
What are SLCs?
Student Lead Conferences take place once a year in October. This is an opportunity for you to share strengths, challenges, and goals for the semester. You meet with Ms. Lauren, Ms. Wendy, and Mr. Ivan to discuss how semester 1 has gone so far. Your parents and teachers will ask you questions, and give you feedback.
