Prepare for our guest on Wednesday by researching information on the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa. Maurice Mondengo will share his experience of being a refugee and an immigrant to Canada.
Also...Cultural Identity Posters are due on Wednesday for all classes!
Academic
- Continue working on Cultural Identity Project. Be sure to have lots of pictures, diagrams, maps and graphs, and not much writing!
- Class origins pie chart....use the instructions to complete a pie chart/graph that shows the cultural identity of students in our class. Or....use the spreadsheet to complete your pie graph!
- Immigration stories - who gets to come to Canada? Use the point system to determine if any of our case studies are allowed to enter Canada based on the points they earn.
Applied

- Canada's Immigrants - in preparation for our guest speaker tomorrow, complete this worksheet about Immigration in Canada
