Since the 2014-2015 school year for CAL and the 2015-2016 school year for H-D, we have had a robust teacher leadership program to support teachers and staff in strong instructional practices. We are fortunate to have this program to serve our students by supporting teachers!

LEAD WITHOUT LEAVING

Teacher Leadership is a statewide initiative by the Iowa Department of Education. Every school district in Iowa is required to have a Teacher Leadership program. The intent was to provide additional professional opportunities and compensation for teachers without fully leaving the classroom.
