The Problem Solving Process

Throughout the program, Math Expressions integrates a research-based, algebraic problem-solving approach that focuses on problem types. Problem solving is a complex process that involves all eight of the CCSS Mathematical Practices. It is also an individual process that can vary considerably from one student to another. Students may conceptualize, represent, and explain a given problem in different ways.
