Homework

The expectation in 5th grade is about 40 minutes of homework each night. Homework will be given Monday through Thursday. Everyday we will dedicate 10-15 minutes to write in Daily Planners and review the expectations for each assignment. Reading (20-30 minutes) and Math is typically given each night. Writing assignments and long-term projects will be given as needed.

Homework is expected to be turned in when it is due. When homework is not completed, the student will receive a “fine”, will complete the “Missing Homework Slip”, and be expected to turn in the assignment the next day.
