Homework is intended to build proper study habits, provide essential practice of necessary skills, and enrich and extend school learning experiences. Homework assignments may require up to 40 minutes per day in fourth grade. All assignments are checked at the beginning of the school day. The HCSD Homework Policy provides additional details.
