Treatment Agreement

Our fourth-grade classroom is guided by our student-teacher contract established at the beginning of the year. Students are a part of the decision-making process and are expected to make choices based on three principles:

In this classroom, students take ownership and responsibility and bear the logical consequences of their actions. For example, if students struggle to follow the classroom contract, they may be asked to "take a break" and rejoin the class when they are ready.

Community

We begin each day with a Morning Meeting, with the purpose of reviewing our daily objectives and creating a safe space for our class to be supportive and kind to one another. During this time we are respectful and good listeners for all of our peers.
