Welcome back to school, 7th graders! This year, I will be teaching 7th grade English in the morning AND 7th grade SOCIAL STUDIES in the afternoon. I am so excited to be back, and eager to support and guide your reading and writing, researching and presenting skills! This year, I traveled to Tibet, Nepal, and Bhutan! I went to basecamp at Mt. Everest! I met Mr. Darbonne, who used to teach English here at Crocker, but now teaches in a mountain village in Bhutan! I also met the Dalai Lama, in Dharamsala, India. The Dalai Lama is the leader of Buddhism and peace for most of the world. It was one of my life goals to meet him. What goals do you have for this bright new school year as a 7th grader!
