Madoka was recently accepted to two conferences!
She will be presenting her paper "Vision, Epiphany, and Dickens’ Creative Process" at this year's British Sociological Association Auto/Biography Study Group One Day Christmas Conference. The theme of the conference is "Epiphanies." She'll be presenting at the British Library on December 20th.
She will also be presenting her paper “Translating the Untranslatable: Strategies and Reality of Translating Okinawan Literature” at the 13th Annual East-West Center International Graduate Student Conference on the Asia Pacific Region. The conference will be held in the Imin International Conference Center right here on campus from February 13 - 15, 2014.
