Hanover High School is a public institution which accepts non-immigrant students for a maximum of one year on an F1 visa. Hanover High school will issue an I-20 to qualified applicants.

Whether you apply online or send in the paper application, our office must receive the following supporting materials to ensure your application file is complete:
Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of $70 for all international students applying for admission must be submitted. The check must be written on a U.S. bank, a foreign bank with a U.S. correspondent, or a U.S. money order. Your application will not be processed without this fee. Students who apply online are required to pay the application fee electronically with either a debit or credit card (MasterCard or VISA), or an electronic check.
TOEFL: Applicants whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). To have your TOEFL score automatically sent to Hanover High School, please specify Hanover High’s DI code (2609). We will consider scores above 70.
Educational Documents: All documents in a language other than English must be accompanied by certified English translations. Notarized translations alone will not be accepted. Translations supplement, but do not replace original documents. Remember to send both.
Transcript/Statement of Marks: This contains the record of courses studied, marks (grades) awarded, length of class periods, and grading scale with minimum passing mark. These must be submitted for upper secondary or high school years. The transcript must be an original copy, certified by the sending institution.
Financial Certification: In order to issue an I-20 immigration form applicants must be able to provide current financial certification showing they have the necessary funds to finance the costs associated with their education for one year before the I-20 can be issued by Hanover High School. The students will need the I-20 form for their F-1 student visa interview.
Official Letter or Statement from Parent(s) or Sponsor(s) Bank: This letter or statement must show that funds are available for the year of enrollment.
Host Family Financial Affadavit: Certified statement from host family to incur financial responsibility for student.
Medical Insurance Coverage: For all non-US citizen students studying in the USA, international student insurance is mandatory and students cannot register for classes without showing proof of student health insurance.
