GCN safety training

HPS uses the GCN tutorial system for all of the required trainings that schools are obligated to provide by NJ state law.

The following modules will need to be completed during the school year. Time will be allocated during various staff meetings and other PD sessions throughout the year to give you time to work on them.

• Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug Awareness – NJ (8 minutes)

• Affirmative Action – NJ (24 minutes)

• Child Abuse – NJ (20 minutes)

• Anti-bullying Bill of Rights - NJ (HIB) (34 minutes)

• Suicide Awareness and Prevention (16 minutes)

• COVID-19 video: Wear a Face Covering (3minutes)

• COVID-19 video: Proper Handwashing (3 minutes)

• COVID-19 pdf: Identifying Symptoms

• Mental Disorders and Awareness for Educators, short (9 minutes)

• Hazard Communication s – PEOSH – NJ (32 minutes)

• LGBTQ Awareness (25 minutes)

You do not need print out a certificate to give your supervisor a copy, as we get notification from GCN directly.

Directions for logging into GCN

If you are a new user:

1. Go to http://www.gcntraining.com/

2. Click on Login to View Training

3. Select New User

4. Organization ID: 108378h

5. Personal ID: this is a word of your choosing

6. Follow the prompts

If you already have a user name, you will still need the Organization ID: 108378h
