Talk with your parents about activities you enjoy on the internet and the guidelines they have for your use of the internet or cell phone.

Exchange emails, instant messages, text messages, etc., only with your family and friends you know in real life.

Respect yourself and others in all you do on the internet.

Never agree to meet in person with someone that you first met on the internet.

Exclude inappropriate photos from your post

Tell your parents or trusted adult about anything on the internet that makes you feel scared or uncomfortable.
