program overview
We offer 6 levels of studio, each building upon the previous in depth and breadth. Students may begin in one of the first three studio levels (1H-3H) depending on the audition results. In the studio, we work on various architectural design projects beginning by utilizing basic principles and elements of design and working deeply on ideation through an iterative design process.
We celebrate the art of failures and learning from them.
Most students will begin in the foundation levels studios 1H and 2H, their focus is on learning design vocabulary and improving craft in sketching, drawing, and modeling in analog mediums. Studios 3H onward integrates digital mediums with analog methods in industrial, interior, architectural, landscape, and urban planning projects. Also, students may apply at any grade level and stay for several years.
