Head Rd Lowland
This is a wonderful spot on the south coast near Denmark
10-20 January 2011
Its 15 Min walk away from wild and secluded beaches and right next to the Bibbulmun Track.
- Day trips into Denmark and William Bay
- Hang out with great walk friends
- Day and overnight (?) walks along the Bibbulum Trail
- Visit west cape Howe
- Swim in secluded beaches

Cost :
$7 Night -this covers basic food stocks, gas and great walk insurance. Young people 15 and under 1/2 price.
Please Bring
Camping gear; tents, mattress, sleeping bags -etc -remember it can be cool and wet on the south coast this time of year. It can also be sunny and warm so bring beach gear and sun shelters
Also eating utensils including plate, cup. Personal gear, a box of food to share, we’ll go shopping for more food as needed. The walk will provide a basic kitchen and cooking set up
Overnight Walk.
We are planning to do and unsupported over night walk into West Cape Howe, spending the night on a secluded beach and walking back to lowlands camp along the Bib trail. If you are wanting to join in you will need to bring back packs and light camping and cooking gear . Please contact Gerard 041 4558 291 for more information
Great Walk Bus
If there is sufficient demand the will be taking the great walk bus down and back
The bus will cost $35 each way or $70 return , half price for young people 15 and under -please contact Vera 0401403451 ASAP if you are intending to travel via bus .
