Primary Education Thinking Skills (PETS) Grades K-3

Primary Education Thinking Skills (PETS) classes are taught to all students in Kindergarten-third grade. Once a month I will visit your child's classroom and teach a lesson that helps students be convergent thinkers, divergent thinkers, visual/spatial thinkers and/or evaluative thinkers. Each PETS lesson utilizes higher level thinking skills aligned with Bloom's taxonomy. The lessons are student friendly, hands-on and engaging. The characters to the left are included in the PETS curriculum. Students will learn about the PETS characters and their higher-level characteristics throughout the year.
