The Army Cadet Xperience is a great opportunity for your units Scouts to experience military life, build respect for the Armed Forces, gain valuable skills and discipline. From the time you arrive on Post to the time you leave its as if you have joined the Army. Arriving between 6:30pm - 8:30pm on the first night your Scouts are lined up and board the bus to reception. At reception Cadet Drill Sergeants move your Scouts from in processing to their barracks, assign bunks, setup their bunks, and then move out for first formation. The next two days include a strict military environment of dress right dress, marching, bunk inspections, military skills training, military experiences and so much more! This is event is exciting, motivating and challenging. The activities and training are at a level these youth with thrive in and enjoy. Our team of trainers is prepared and trained over the 6 months prior to the event to understand how to work with your Scouts, teach them and have an amazing experience.
Thank you for your interest in registering for the Army Cadets Xperience 2024. We are no longer accepting registration for the 2024 event.
A confirmation email was sent to the Unit Leader (contact person listed on the form) once your registration was received and reviewed. The email includes additional instructions to complete your registration including payment information and additional requirements for your 18yr and older participants (base access documents).
All units received final "orders" on April 1, 2024 which includes arrival & departure times, packing lists, base security protocols, general schedule of events and other details.

Please note:
Adult leader registration was limited to 2 adults per unit and 1 additional adult for every 10 scouts. For example, a unit with 23 Scouts should have three leaders. A unit with 17 scouts should have two adult leaders.
Once FINAL payment is made, your roster is complete and there are no refunds, only substitutions. If your unit has registrants that do not attend, their materials will be sent home with the unit following the event. Final payments was due March 15, 2024.

This was the second year our troop participated. This year's program was better then last year (that could have been because last year it was raining - but it was still a great program last year). The Cadets did a great job and it was awesome to see how well they commanded respect from the scouts. Truly appreciate Ft McCoy allowing this experience to occur on their base.

The staff was great and kept things exciting for the youth and adults alike. Other than tent camping, I couldn't think of a better weekend Scout outing.
