Incoming Grade 7 Orientation
Smith Middle School welcomed current Grade 6 parents on Thursday, January 9, 2025, for an Incoming Grade 7 Parent Orientation. The evening included a showcase of elective choices and an overview of the SMS experience. Parents learned about the course selection process and curriculum directors gave a brief presentation. The presentation is posted below.

Health Form Requirement
Health Form Requirement
Prior to seventh grade, students must have a physical and the CT State health form completed with all immunizations up to date and turned into the GW school nurse or the SMS nurse. Schedules will only be released to those students that have met this State law.
