• Smith Middle School was designated a No Place for Hate School.

• Smith Middle School was named an American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge Heart of Gold Recipient.

Finance & Economics

• SMS earned 2nd Place in the middle school division of the SIFMA Foundation Stock Market Game.

• An SMS 7th-grade student placed 1st in the SIFMA InvestWrite Competition.

• Smith Middle School was recognized as a Special Olympics National Unified Champion School (2024–2027).
