Welcome Principal Skarvelas!
Dr. Skarvelas began his career teaching Glastonbury High School history and social studies in 2007. During those years, he also served as a GHS football, basketball, and lacrosse coach. Ten years ago he was appointed GHS Assistant Principal. Dr. Skarvelas is a creative, collaborative, and dynamic leader. He understands the challenges students face during the critical middle school years and is committed to helping students and staff succeed. Check out the custom sneakers he wore on the first day of school to greet students!

NEW Free Meal Guidelines
The State of Connecticut has allocated funding to support school meal programs. Under current state guidelines, our schools will provide breakfast, where available, at no cost to all students. In addition, lunch meals will be provided at no cost to students eligible for reduced-priced meals. Families that do not qualify for free or reduced meals may purchase lunch for $3.00 (grades K-6) or $3.50 (grades 7-12).
