Congratulations to Naubuc Elementary School Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Carol Lemieux, the Glastonbury Public Schools 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. For 26 years Mrs. Lemieux has captivated young students with her positive, calm, and joyous demeanor and her early childhood teaching expertise.
A champion of purposeful play, Mrs. Lemieux helps her young learners take on new challenges without fear. Throughout the school year she works to load up her students’ “tool belts” with academic, emotional, and social skills. Building classroom community is a fundamental benchmark for Mrs. Lemieux. "We support and celebrate life's ups and downs together," she says.
Mrs. Lemieux was also recently selected as a CT State Teacher of the Year Semifinalist! Eight of the last ten Glastonbury Public Schools Teachers of the Year have been selected as state semifinalists.

Visit the Family Digital Citizenship webpage to learn more and to register for the community conversations. There are a limited number of free books available thanks to the generosity of the Glastonbury Rotary Club.
Families filled our elementary schools this spring, sparking creativity and curiosity as they explored the world of STEAM learning!
