Q: Where are we located?

We are located in room B107.

Q: What hours are you open?

A: We are open periods 1-8 and after school on Mondays,Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment to get help or ask a question?

A: No, but you may have to wait your turn while our tutors help other students. You may walk in anytime during our open hours.

Q: Can I help tutor?

A: Yes, but you must fill out a peer tutor application form first. Our staff will review your application, and consider you for a peer tutor position. For more information, visit our Becoming a Peer Tutor page.

Q: What kind of writing can I bring?

A: Anything! We review papers, creative writing, college essays, lab reports, etc.

Q: Do you only offer help with writing assignments?

A: We offer editing help with any school work or assignment across any subject, however we can only help with content-related questions regarding English (literature/composition) assignments.

Q: Can I come to the reading and writing center even if I don’t need a tutor?

A: Yes! The reading and writing center is a place to read, study, or work on any schoolwork that you may have. Tutors will be there to answer any of your questions.
