Additional Reminders

Remember: Many of our database companies now allow you to import a source citation directly into NoodleTools. Here is a list of the databases we use that have this feature:

  • EBSCO (MAS Ultra, Points of View References Center, etc.)

  • Gale (Opposing Viewpoints, GeneralOneFile, etc.)

  • Infobase (Issues & Controversies; American, Medieval, and Modern World History, etc.)

  • Proquest (newspapers found on ResearchITCT)

  • JSTOR

A Word of Caution: Once you've imported a citation, please check to make sure it looks correct! Sometimes they import with errors, and when that happens, you'll need to find the citation in your project, and click on "Options," then "Edit," make the necessary changes, and finally hit "Save" to make sure those corrections stick.

Heads Up: Some teachers will require you to enter all source citations manually, regardless of whether or not the database can import directly to NoodleTools. ALWAYS review your teacher's requirements before importing a citation.
