Animal Science
Students studying animal science prepare for careers such as veterinarian, veterinary technician, animal behaviorist, animal nutritionist, zoo keeper, farmer, dog kennel manager, animal breeder, animal groomer, and many more!
The courses here are all one semester (.5) credit courses. Students taking courses labelled ECE (Early College Experience) are eligible to receive UConn credits.

In our animal science classroom we currently have guinea pigs, parakeets, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, many chickens and the occasional furry visitor.
