While all Girls Inc. team members have some responsibility with data leadership, each affiliate designates a Data Leader who is the primary team member responsible for leading data management efforts for their affiliate. This includes, but is not limited to Girls Inc. Experience evaluation practices (SSBOS, etc), Compass-360 (and other participant database) management, and local grant or AAS reporting.
🚨 AMAT item OU.01:
The affiliate appoints a data leader responsible for any data collection requirements from Girls Inc. as well as the day-to-day management and reporting of the data that tracks statistics on our girls such as: enrollment, attendance, demographics, and any other necessary data. (RE)
Every month, the Data Leader Community from across the network gathers to connect with colleagues. Monthly Roundtables are a space to ask questions, share expertise, and explore new approaches to data leadership. These gatherings will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1pm ET / 12pm CT/ 11pm MT/ 10am PT. Zoom Login (Passcode: 099917).
Below you can find various resources from these monthly discussions, including resources that have been shared from other affiliates, running notes from all roundtables, and a look ahead to the upcoming Affiliate Spotlight features!
NOTE: We are currently looking for more affiliate spotlight participants! In particular we'd love someone to talk through how they use the SSBOS data, and the Annual Affiliate Survey data, as we gear up for those data releases and collection efforts. If you'd like to talk to fellow data leaders about what you do, or have other data leader spotlight ideas please reach out to us at research@girlsinc.org
