Plots and Parameters

This section provides the detailed plots and parameters measured during the ESR-AFO gait lab analysis of the 14 year old Spina Bifida patient. Measurements were recorded walking with shoes only, and running with shoes only, walking and running with the ESR-AFOs.

The temporal parameter pages include velocity, stride length, cadence measurements as well as the percentages of the gait cycle spent in stance phase. Range of motion (ROM) is quantified in the "kinematics" pages, while ROM, moments, and power are summarized under the "kinetics" pages. EMG images will illustrate which muscles were active at particular times of the gait cycle.
