About the teacher

Hello my Name is Scott Heavner! I am a 1990 Graduate of Cherryville High School. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Banking and Economics. I am certified to teach Business Education and Math. I obtained my Master Degree form Appalachian State University in Instructional Technology. I have taught at CHS for the past 19 years.

I am married to Millicent Heavner (22 years) the wonderful Counselor at Lincolnton Middle School. We have 3 Awesome Children, Maggie Beth 19, Ty 16, and Aaron 11.
