Students in Microsoft Imagine Academy benefit from world-class Microsoft curriculum and cutting-edge software tools to tackle real-world challenges in the classroom environment. The Academy is divided into two parts, A and B. This class (MITA A) is divided into two succinct parts, in which students learn to use:
1- Word 2016 interface, commands, and features to create, enhance, customize and share documents as well as create complex documents and publish them.
2- PowerPoint 2016 interface, commands, and features to create, enhance, customize and deliver presentations.
Students have the opportunity to become Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certified in Word and Word Expert 2016 and PowerPoint 2016, which are part of the Microsoft Office Master certification.
Cherryville High students use the skills learned in this class throughout their High school experience. Activities also provide opportunities to apply essential standards and workplace readiness skills through authentic experience.
