Social Communication
Pragmatics and social communication refers to how we communicate within social contexts. These skills include turn taking, topic maintenance, inferring, "reading the room", predicting, using and understanding body language, problem solving, and so much more. Your student may be working on things like making inferences, regulating emotions to effectively problem solve, identifying the size of the problem, and understanding facial expressions.
