Staff members wear the ROTC insignia 5/8 of an inch above the notch while the Torch of Knowledge insignia is 1 1/4 inches below the ROTC insignia. An enlisted female cadets who aren't staff members will wear the Torch of Knowledge insignia will be worn 5/8 of an inch above the notch. All ranks are 5/8 of an inch from the outside shoulder seam. A cadet can only wear two cords at one time with one cord on each shoulder. Arcs are in alphabetical order and 1/8 inch between each and is an inch below the second button.
