Here are a few upcoming events for Spanish Club; if you have questions, please feel free to contact me at asaalfeld@ftcpioneers.org, or by phone at 402-468-5591.
1. Dinner and movie night. Friday, February 22, 6:30-9:30 PM in Spanish room. We'll have a taco bar and watch a movie. Students can RSVP here. There is no cost to attend this event.
2. Spaghetti Works and concert. Saturday, March 23, 5:30-10:00 PM. We'll meet at school at 5:30 PM, eat dinner at Spaghetti Works in the Old Market, and then go to the Orpheum to watch the Havana, Cuba All-Stars concert. This event will cost $27.75 for the concert ticket, and approximately $15 for dinner including tax and tip. If money is an issue, please come talk to me. Permission forms and $27.75 are due Friday, February 8.
3. 5 de mayo celebration. Thursday, May 2, 11:00-2:15. We'll go to Metropolitan Community College's south campus and attend their 5 de mayo celebration. I'll have more details and permission forms as we get closer to the event.
We'll also have a dinner night at La Mesa in Omaha sometime in May. I'll announce specifics and send out permission forms in April.
